Camille Jane Kaufman
age 9, light brown hair, blue eyes
Every parent's nightmare: losing their child. And when that child is taken by the other parent--parental abduction--all are stunned by the cruelty of it. Especially when the left-behind parent had a good relationship with the child, the emotional violence is heart-wrenching.
Camille is a victim of parental abduction. Our story is being told on San Antonio TV (WOAI.com and SA Living [update here], MySA.com), and now on CNN and Inside Edition. Thank-you, Delaine Mathieu and team, for your tireless investigation. There is much more to this story that still needs to be told (see the recent report at the Boerne Star Part 1 and Part 2). Unfortunately there is no good outcome from this tragedy--only damage control.
Camille has been missing since ~July 9, 2008. She and her mother, Dr. Lynanne Jane Foster (the abductor), were last seen in the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area. There are indications that Lynanne took Camille South, to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central or South America.
Both state and federal (International Parental Kidnapping) warrants have been issued for Lynanne Jane Foster by local law enforcement and the justice department. US Attorneys, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, private investigators, and law enforcement are actively working on the case.
Camille was studying violin and might be in a private school. Her mother might be practicing medicine. They might be continuing to travel. If you think you have seen them, please do not approach them but contact us through the email and/or phone number below or "contact information" link above. We encourage you to pass this website along to your friends or associates who might have knowledge of the case.
